Valfréjus

Village centre, Valfréjus Valfréjus is a small friendly family oriented ski resort. It is situated a few kilometres from Modane (only 4 hours from Paris by train) just opposite the Vanoise National Park. The resort has developed around old traditional stone and wood houses, with roofs covered in stone slabs from the hamlet of Charmaix. The village has managed to retain its authenticity by insisting that new constructions are wooden chalets that blend with the mountain environment. The resort's ski runs extend into the heart of the Thabor mountain range and offer quality skiing in an area that is suitable for skiers of all levels. Its downhill ski runs start at 1550 metres and culminate at 2737 metres. The resort has over 70 snow cannons.
